LENSVISION: Tell us about your first moment of falling in love with food and storytelling. Was it a dish, a camera, or a feeling?

OREOLUWA: I was the child who never ate what everyone else in the house ate. I loved playing in the kitchen, mixing ingredients together and cooking my own food. Watching Food Network shows definitely contributed to my kitchen escapades. I didn't know what I was doing, but I knew it made me happy.

LENSVISION: How do you choose which dishes deserve a story?

OREOLUWA: I’m drawn to bizarre recipes, the ones that make people pause and wonder if they’re actually edible. I think food should surprise you sometimes. Everything doesn’t have to be eaten with stew.

LENSVISION: How do fashion and food intersect in your creative world?

OREOLUWA: They both reflect who I am. I get messy and creative with food, but fashion is where I get composed and confident. I just like looking good and eating good.
